After you smoke your last cigarette, you will start thinking what will life look like now without any more cigarettes. It is important for you to get your mind off that topic because the more you think about it the harder it will be to stay clean. Shake off every thought about cigarettes, getting through these first few days is the hardest. After about 4 hours your body and mind will start craving for nicotine. If you are not engaged in doing something that could be a problem, you need to keep body and mind active to divert it from the craving. 10 hours in you will start thinking would you be able to sleep without nicotine, you will have the urge to light up a cigarette before bed. You need to stay strong get in the bed and after 30 minutes you will be probably asleep.

Your morning will most likely be very irritating and rough. If you get in some fight with your family members remember it is because of the nicotine. Don’t be angry at people, think positively you are finally giving up the bad habit.
2 days in
Well done you have already made it through 2/3 of the worst parts of the process. You will start getting headaches and that is normal body reaction when nicotine is cut off. Don’t think that a cigarette will help you with a headache because it won’t, they were the cause in the first place.
